In my 20's and early 30's I went to a lot of farmers markets and craft fairs. There's a certain way to present myself to the public that I've settled on, and have noticed something similar in other vendors. You're relentlessly cheerful. You're enthusiastic about how great your product is, but not invasively so. You agree to anything the customer wants (within the limits of sanity and of how the Universe works). And at the end of the day you're both exhilarated and utterly spent.
